Hey hey, I’m Kara.
I’m so glad you’re here. The At-Home Tribe is a community of women who are committed to pursuing healthy living. Physically and spiritually. Together. And it’s my joy to cheer you on and pray you through.
When I started my health journey almost a decade ago, I’d only taken one fitness class. Ever. But I knew the Lord was calling me to better steward my body. And so I committed. I learned. I tried some things that didn’t work for me. I grew.
And even though I lead the At-Home Tribe, I’m still learning, and trying, and growing. I do my best to show up authentically and share my struggles.
I’m in it with you.

We focus a lot on God’s character because who He is matters to everything we do. And, we talk about who we are because how we see ourselves impacts our relationship with God, ourselves and others.
I believe it is possible to find peace in your health journey, and also that God is doing more in your life. He’s calling you to step into even bigger places. I want to help you say, “Yes” no matter the call.
I talk a lot about surrender and obedience, about training to do hard things and walking through difficult circumstances. Life is messy, but you were made for hard things. I want to equip you to step into those hard and difficult circumstances with hope.
We aren’t after perfection in the At-Home Tribe. We’re learning to move better, to eat better, to love better. And we’re pursuing Christ together. If you’re ready, there’s a place for you.

What's Included?
A library of hundreds of doable workouts that fit into your day – kickboxing, low-impact, metabolic, strength, seated workouts, drumsticks, HIIT, and more. You don't have to spend hours in the gym to train well!
A gospel-centered community of women (via a private facebook group) who are ready to cheer you on and pray you through. In the group you’ll find encouragement and accountability, live teachings and workouts, live prayer calls, and support for wherever you are in your journey.
Faith-based encouragement and teaching through Bible studies, monthly themes, accountability pods, and prayer calls.

How do I access the videos?
All you need is a device and wifi. You log into your account on our website and access the growing library of hundreds of workouts from our members’ area.
Can I stream these workouts to my tv?
If you can stream from your device to your tv, you can stream At-Home Tribe workouts.
What equipment do I need to get started?
I suggest 5lb and 8lb hand weights, but you can truly start with whatever you have around you. No weights? Use a gallon of water (which weighs about 8lbs) or cans of food from your pantry. Try wooden spoons in place of drumsticks. Don’t let equipment keep you from getting started. If you’re moving, you’re doing it right.

How much time do I need to invest?
Most of the videos in our workout library are 35 mins or less. In addition to working out, I recommend making time several days a week to check into the At-Home Tribe Facebook group – to encourage others, be encouraged and watch teaching. You get out what you put in, but it can fit into your life!
I haven’t worked out in a long time. Can I still do this?
While you should always check with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine, all of our workouts offer modifications with cues so you can make them work for your body. We also offer workouts from a seated position and specifically low-impact workouts, as well as a calendar designed for beginners. Start where you are. If you’re moving, you’re doing it right.
I’m not part of a church. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Just know that we are a faith-based community and focus on Jesus Christ. If that’s okay with you, we’d love to have you join us.
Will you tell me what to eat?
I am not a licensed dietitian and don’t know your specific situation. The At-Home Tribe offers resources for you to be able to decide, with your health care professional if needed, what healthy eating may look like for your body.
