Today, here’s our goal: That you continue taking one step at a time toward the thing the Lord is calling you to. Maybe it’s a change in your health journey. Maybe it’s a new area He’s asking you to step forward into that seems terrifying. Maybe it’s developing a daily time in the Word. Maybe its a new ministry idea or focus. Whatever it is, would you be willing to take one more step forward today?
Today your main assignment will take you about 6 minutes. I want you to go grab a journal or piece of paper, find a quiet spot and then PUSH PLAY on this video. We’re going to be diving into Psalm 37:5 and meditating on its truth for 5-minutes. Being still is hard, but it’s so beneficial as we begin to listen and learn as the Lord teaches us through His Word. Push play, do the Scripture reset, then go comment on today’s Facebook post with your takeaway.

Today for your HEALTH challenge, I want you to get out and walk.
I do not mean a speed walk.
I do not mean a treadmill walk with a ridiculously high incline.
I don’t even mean a walk where you’re tracking your calories burned on your activity tracker.
I want you to get out and leisurely stroll.
Go slow and look around. Do something crazy and leave your phone at home (gasp!), or at least put it on airplane mode. Look around at the beauty you see in nature, take some deep breaths, and feel the joy that can come from simply appreciating the gift of being able to move.
Leisurely walking is SUPER beneficial for you, lowers cortisol, can help with fat loss, and even emotional regulation. Walking also boosts energy & reduces fatigue.
Today, get out and stroll! Once you’re done, go comment on the Facebook post and let us know how it went!
Your task today for the HOME focus of our challenge:
Do something kind for another person in your family that won’t ever know it was you. Maybe that looks like doing someone else’s assigned chore, maybe it’s packing their lunch, maybe it’s bringing in fresh flowers and putting them by their bed, maybe it’s even an encouraging note placed somewhere they’ll find it later. Go out of your way today to love them in an intentional way.
